Data Analysis

After analyzing the data and responses received from the surveys, we found that the top issue with Aspen Heights was with the gated aspect of the off-campus community. The gate was stated to need the most improvement out of all of the suggestions listed. Specific issues with the gate are that the provided guest access codes malfunction often and that the gate itself is left open constantly, which eliminates the promised “security” aspect of the community. Over the course of our data collection, we had found that Aspen Heights had recently fixed the issues revolving around the function of the gate itself. More specifically, it is no longer left open and as of now, functions as it is supposed to. However, this has not resolved the issues surrounding the complicated guest access codes that tend to malfunction. Possible means for improvement that we have suggested and further look into throughout this performance improvement proposal are consistent gate maintenance, a new code system, and verification that each code works efficiently.
